We play board games online. Board Game Arena runs the games, Discord carries the trash talk. Both are free. Neither requires you to be good at anything.
Twenty minutes, once, and then never again
Got a computer and a microphone? That's the whole kit. No microphone on the computer? Play in the browser and talk through Discord on your phone. Nobody will know.

A permanent monument to a rushed signupDiscord invites die after a few days. Their rule, not ours. A fresh one goes up here before the next session — or ask and one will be produced, grudgingly.
Ask for a fresh invite →Once you're in: look down the left edge of Discord for Dangerous Dave's Server with the raven icon. Click it, then click the General voice channel. That's it. You've arrived.

Handy if your computer has no microphone: play in the browser, talk on the phone.
On a computer, in the Discord app:
Or just paste the link in your browser's address bar and press Enter — Discord will offer to open the app or carry on in the browser. No account yet? It'll walk you through making one.
On a phone: open the app, tap + at the bottom of the server list, tap Join a Server, paste the link, tap Join.
BGA moves its buttons around occasionally. If yours look different, the help section over there is decent.
At the appointed hour, open Discord and find Dangerous Dave's Server in the left-hand list — raven icon. Click it, then click the General voice channel. You're in the room.
We usually open with something that seats a crowd and explains itself in two minutes. If enough people have paid BGA accounts we can run more than one table at once. We'll figure it out live, badly, as tradition demands.
Technical difficulties, a dead invite link, or a question the page didn't answer. Send it through and it will be received with the usual reluctance.
